White Spruce

Picea glauca

Creamy white to pale yellow; generally subtle growth-ring contrast; knots common in construction grades

White spruce (Picea glauca) is a North American softwood used for construction lumber, framing, interior joinery, and soundboards/utility uses where a light, straight-grained wood is needed. It’s easy to work but has low natural durability and benefits from protection in damp/exposed settings.
