Yellow Birch

Betula alleghaniensis

Light reddish-brown heartwood with nearly white sapwood; generally subtle growth-ring contrast

Yellow birch (Betula alleghaniensis) is a North American hardwood with a light colour and often subtle figure. It’s used for flooring, cabinetry, plywood, and general furniture; it machines well and takes finishes evenly, but has low natural durability outdoors.
